Our lives have overlapped through family and motherhood and our children becoming close in a way that I was intrigued to get to the bottom of.

So it was actually very lovely and revealing to finally trace back how all of those threads came together.

And I think because of that history, we were able to have a different kind of conversation, one about creativity and marriage and motherhood and ambition and ageing and what it means to keep choosing an artistic life over and over again.
