So your family back in New Zealand, how aware were they at that point of like your new pursuit?

But then there's just something often in that child-parent relationship where it doesn't matter how old you are.
Like, before my dad died, he was 89, I would still hide from him if I wanted to have a cigarette at a party or whatever.
