So last week I was in London and I was lucky enough to be, you know, there's this amazing Billie Eilish documentary out, which is basically a kind of concept film plus extra.
And one of the things that wowed me, my daughter, she loves Billie Eilish, but one of the things that struck me so deeply about watching the concert film documentary is the level of passion and connection that her fans, these young people all over the globe, feel for her.
I'd never experienced anything like it and it made me think, like, what was that for me?
Now, I am a self-confessed not a music person at all.
But I feel like when I was younger, I was.
And so I'd love to know from all of you, that's why I sent you this homework.
And I know you're kind of all really into music.
What was that for you?
Who was that artist for you?
Or what was that song that really made you feel connected?
Well, Bruna, what was yours?
So I'm an interesting one.
Like I always say, I'm good at a lot of things but I know nothing about music and music has just never been my thing.
Fun fact, when my car got broken into for the third time in London, they just stopped stealing my record collection because it was so bad, my CD collection.
In my car.
But for me, the thing that really makes me feel happy when I think about music was the connection to my mother.
When we were younger, she was always playing certain artists.
And the main artist that my mother always played when I was younger was Dolly Parton.
Love Dolly.
Love Dolly.
