Podcast Appearances
There's been some research that's actually been done on that in the last few months.
And what that's found, it's research from Red Sea, they've got an average weekly listenership of 750,000 people, which is really, really, really big in the podcast space.
That's a huge number.
So that's widespread appeal across a wide spectrum of people, but mostly focused on younger age groups, mostly working adults.
But
What's interesting about it is a lot of those people are going back all the time.
So some of the figures here, nearly three in 10 adults over the age of 18 are coming back and listening to the podcast.
Nearly 12% of them are listening monthly or more often than that.
And then their biggest demographic, the 25 to 34s, full-time workers at 17% and 9% each.
And
What the research said is that they've got strong, balanced listenership nationwide.
So they're pulling in listeners from across the country.
They're pulling in listeners from across different demographics.
And in terms of what that might mean for the actual money and sponsorship that they can pull in.
These listeners were talking about there's a correlation between I'm hearing this on the two Johnnies is a sponsor and I might be more likely to buy that product.
So it's laid out in facts and figures.
You can derive them all you like, but the two Johnnies can pull in money and they can pull in listeners and they are very, very popular across the board.
I think it gets back to the types of things that they talk about.
I think you have to credit them as personalities as well, right?
I wouldn't necessarily say that I'm a regular listener to the two Johnnies, but...
