I am well.

I'm thrilled to be on the podcast for the first time.

Long time since our first time appearance.

Correct.

Do I want to know who this person is?

No, I can't guess.

Now that I can't, because bottom of the class, they're going to come after me.

Sure.

Well, I went to Arizona State as we established and similar to Dustin Pedroia, I didn't necessarily go for the top tier education.

I went because I thought it would be really fun.

And that was not exactly a sentence that thrilled my parents when I explained to them why I was choosing ASU, but it was an honest one and to be completely transparent.

I had no idea when I went to college what I wanted to do.

I tried a couple of different majors.

None of them really stuck out to me.

And I was kind of in that weird transition as an 18-year-old, like, what do I want to be, you know?

And I was walking around Arizona State's campus and quite literally a bus drove by me with a sign on it that said, like, sports journalism program opening today.

I think it was January 2015.

And I was like, oh, that's next semester.

And I've always loved baseball.

Part of the reason I went to Arizona State was so I could go watch spring training.
