They were sent home and put into self-isolation, but the rest of the squad have carried on training with some misgivings among the players.
But, you know, as you say, what will happen if this happens again, if a player fails a test?
These are, again, things that are being looked at, but we have this figure of 40,000 tests, which is how many tests?
The Premier League will need going forward to fulfil all the fixtures and everyone is going to be rigorously tested.
That is for sure.
I think the major issue at the moment is, as Brian said, this whole issue of neutral venues.
And it is very emotive and it is controversial.
But I don't think there's anything wrong with the teams at the bottom of the table having concerns about it.
Because if you're relegated from the Premier League, I mean, it is an incredible financial hit.
And being relegated in the current circumstances is...
unthinkable for these clubs so they do have to look out for their own interests as well and for instance if you look at Brighton's fixture list you know they've got five games to play at home four of them against Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United now you would have to say that they would have a better chance of winning a
some of those games if they were playing at a full Amex stadium I think I've seen them actually beat Manchester United at the Amex once they would have a much better chance of getting points from those games if they were playing those games instead of in front of their own fans instead of playing them at a neutral venue for instance if Brighton were playing Manchester United at the King Power Stadium in Leicester you know Manchester United would
would have a much better chance of winning that than if they were playing at the Amex.
You have to respect why teams like Brighton have doubts about playing games at neutral venues.
But then on the other hand, you have to respect the fact that if this is the only way that the season can be completed, then it's got to be give and take.
And some of those clubs who have concerns have to put those concerns to one side and
and just trust in the Premier League and trust in the advice they're getting from the government and the authorities and trust their own players for them to go out on the pitch, even though there won't be any fans, even if they won't be playing at their own grounds, to go out on the pitch and represent their clubs and represent their fans and do their best and try and get a result.
I think there's a chance that the season won't be completed, but...
What hasn't changed is that all 20 clubs absolutely and totally want to finish the season, if at all possible.
Looking at the league table, you'd think, look at some of those teams at the bottom, surely they would prefer if just the season was cancelled and there was no relegation and they stayed in the Premier League for another season and they got all the money in the future that that entails.
