People can assume that, but from all the people that me and Brian have been talking to, the information we're getting is that, as a whole, the Premier League is totally committed to finishing the season whenever possible, when it's safe to do so.
So I don't think the Premier League or the clubs will take the decision to cancel the season.

It'll be a decision that will be taken by the government, for instance, as it was in France, where I think the Prime Minister announced last week that there would be no sporting events until September.
And from what we're hearing from the government here is that is not going to happen here.
They seem to think that it would be good for the Premier League to start again.
They think it would be good for the morale of the nation if football started.
restarted so to answer your question I think it is possible that the season could be cancelled but at the moment the clubs want to restart the Premier League wants to restart and the government wants football to restart as well
I think one of the other issues as well is, you know, this is another thing that the club's
are having to deal with, you know, they're not getting any money in, they're not getting money from match day receipts, they're not sure what's going to happen to their broadcasting income.

Historically, when people start renewing their season tickets for next season, they're not getting that money in as well.
They don't know what's going to be happening next season.
A game's going to be played behind closed doors next season.
That would affect their income as well, all their commercial activities and commercial deals.
And then on top of this, they've got this whole issue of player trading, from what I understand.
when and if the transfer window opens.
A lot of clubs in the Premier League are planning on spending little or no money because, I mean, that's one thing they can do to protect their finances going forward.
And then when it comes to these whole issues of players being out of contract, I think there's between about 70 and 80 players who will become free agents on June the 30th.
