What made me come across?

Just opportunity, you know.

Like, obviously, in New Zealand, we have lower wages and everything's much more expensive.

So living there is hard.

And, you know, I would see a lot of my friends just...

I guess, get into drugs or like drink every day because that's all they knew.

And, you know, they were just...

working the regular jobs.

And I just knew that like, I didn't want that for my life.

Like I just saw, you know, my friends go through that, my family go through that.

So I had an opportunity where it was like a sliding doors moment.

I was like, I can move to Australia and see what happens, or I can stay here and just do this for the rest of my life.

So I just chose like, right, I'm just gonna, I'm pretty impulsive.

So I was just like, fuck it, booked a flight the next day and was like, okay, we're gone.

And that's what happened.

Gold Coast, yes.

Yeah, so I moved over here and I knew like one person here but I had no family or friends.

I was staying in a random share house with like two other guys and a couple and I was just sort of figuring everything out.

And, yeah, I was just lucky that it worked out.
