would be like excuse me puerto rico would be like let us in too so i think president trump's end goal is something short of that maybe a freely associated state like the marshall islands maybe a territory like guam less likely to happen but i think he's got them in a position to deal but i don't think the deal is going to be let's add socialist senators to the united states senate and lose it forevermore

And I'm proud of everyone who's protesting peacefully.

And I am sorry for anyone who has been hurt just for protesting, for doing what you should be doing.

They may want us to be afraid, to be divided, to be silent.

But we won't give them that satisfaction.

We will continue the fight with determination, with resilience, and, dare I say, with joy.

So in the spirit of Chicago, it is time to bear down.
