The biggest thing I really wanted to do was challenge myself and play against those older guys and those stronger guys.
It was obviously a tough decision at the time, but looking back at it now, I think it was the right one, and I kind of have the support from those people in Victoria as well, and I'm super glad.
Still kind of have connections with them and talk with them every now and then.
So, yeah, I'm super happy with my season.
Yeah, big time.
I mean, to kind of take that step with a familiar face and jump into college and I happened to live with him as well.
So to have him by my side to make the jump was definitely made a little easier when I saw him that he committed there and I was committed as well.
It was going to be a fun time for sure.
But yeah,
I mean, to have him, the type of player he is and the person he is, and obviously his experience in both the draft and junior, and to have him by my side to learn from was pretty special.
Yeah, it was tough.
It's hard.
It's physical.
It's fast.
I mean...
for me we talked about it a lot with our team and our coaching staff and people around just watching as well we've been playing playoff hockey since January essentially I mean every single game matters so much in college you can't drop you can't drop one game to a
a team in the bottom of the conference or a team in the bottom of the league, you have to kind of be ready every single night in order to be set up in a good position for come tournament time.
So it's tough hockey, and it's fun, though.
It's competitive.
I mean, everyone's going every single night.
