There's different styles of players, and it's fun.

It's competitive.

Yeah, for me, my biggest jump was just my maturity as a as a whole defenseman.

I mean, definitely taking steps in my defensive game, my habits there and and just kind of defending better players.

I think for me, the biggest part I knew I had to hold my game at the start of the year and really wanted to patch up and take those steps in this year was my defensive game and being able to shut down those top guys.

So when eventually kind of make that jump to pro and

playing against those harder and faster guys.

Obviously in the NHL, it's the best players in the world.

So taking a step here and playing against some older and faster guys, just kind of smooth that gap a bit and make the transition a little easier eventually.

Yeah, I talked to 18 teams there, so it was fun.

It was busy.

It was cool to talk to all those teams and get to know the management a bit more.

Obviously, I talked to scouts throughout the year, but it was really cool to meet the management and put a face to a name.

How many teams took you out for dinner?

Two.

And they were?

San Jose and Seattle.

Yeah, really good times with them.

It's cool to get to know them a little more.
