his addiction so that's where we're at today so yes my dad enables him but it's very sensitive because you have to live with this person and there's like no escape so i don't know like you said it's like picking and choosing battles we could all think about how we would do it differently but

Yeah, just being there for him as a brother and helping my parents out as well, just giving them a break at times just because my dad's his forever caretaker and my mom is constantly making sure that Brian is okay.

Yeah, so David and him have a relationship.

My other brother, Robert, is an alcoholic.
