That is unbelievable.
The complaining by Cooper did not come across well, and I know he's a great guy and well-respected and won cups and all of that, but it just seemed to me like it was completely unnecessary.
Plus, I mean, you had all that time five-on-five.
You also had a five-on-three that you weren't able to score when you had the two-man advantage for over a minute.
And you had two breakaways.
Yeah, I mean, so stop.
I mean, you just give credit, shut up about the format, because you know if you would have won, you would have never been like, oh, you know, it would have been nice to win five on five, and this doesn't mean as much because it was three on three.
Bull crap.
You would have taken that gold medal and never said a word about it.
One of the most amazing plays was Charlie McAvoy behind Connor Hellbuck, standing right in the goal mouth, and somehow that puck hits him right in the stomach where his hands were.
And he pushes it forward.
And somehow he keeps that thing out of the net.
I mean, there were people that were saying that you want to see the overhead view to see if that puck passed the goal line.
I don't know.
I have not seen an overhead view of that.
I don't necessarily know that you could have seen that puck with the way that Charlie McAvoy was standing there outside of the net.
But he was just like bent over.
Like, somehow he had the ability to keep the puck out of the net.
