Yeah.
Didn't play a lot of games for the Dolphins.
He's in his second season there.
He's only played eight or nine games, I think it is.
He hasn't played too many.
Shoulder injury just got too much for him though, but has been a very, very good player for a long time.
I think 191 games I think he ended up playing.
Well, essentially you go and, well, you've got an injury that basically you're not recovering from.
And then once you retire, under the new CBA that's been negotiated by the Players Association,
the clubs are obligated to basically pay out whatever remains on the contract.
So you do see that a little bit now.
In the past, players might have persisted and hung around on the injury list and just tried to get better and maybe come back for a game here or there.
as their body allowed, but now if you've got a long-term injury that they've regarded, you've got to have all your tests, the doctor's got to look at it, the doctor's got to say, yeah, there's a permanency to the injury, then you can apply for your medical retirement, at which point if that's then processed, you can continue to be paid out by the club.
Well, it's through the NRL.

And it's a recent... I think it was...
I'm not sure it was the last collective bargaining agreement or the one before where this was negotiated.
But it was something the players were very passionate about.
And you can see why when their careers are ended.
