But the teams that have been very much defence-oriented in the past, like Melbourne, for example, are really struggling with all these six-againts.
And if you saw the way they defended, particularly late in that second half over the weekend, Melbourne, Melbourne are making defensive errors
that Melbourne never made.
They're letting guys run past them.
The old line, fatigue makes cows of us all, said by a boxing guy.
And when you get that tired, you just don't want to defend yourself anymore.
That's the effect of fatigue.
The Storm are having players, opposition players, run past them.
And rather than go that last 1% effort and diving to hit and tackle the player, they're sort of not in sticking an arm out, but they're sort of running towards them.
But they're missing them by a meter.
And that's a fatigue thing.
And that's what's happening to these defensive teams.
And I think that's really what affected the Dragons throughout the early period of this season.
And it's happened to them, and it's happening to the Bulldogs now as well.
I think the Bulldogs, who put so much emphasis in their defense, are really struggling to stay in the games because, one, they don't have a lot of pace on the edges, okay?
Now, Karras is a very good winger, but he's not one of the fastest wingers around.
