We didn't know the extent of how it would go.
We knew there would be grief.
Just the EDL in general, it sort of started in my front room.
That was the nucleus of it.
Tommy was going to some meeting in London to meet some people.
He'd come home.
He said, look, lads,
We've got, I've just met some lads and they've got a Welsh Defence League.
So my ears picked up and I said, well, that's it.
Straight away, in a nanosecond, I said, that's it.
English Defence League.
Because we knew we had to go from a street level, a town movement to a national movement.
So I said, that's it.
You know, English Defence League, simple.
And we said, that's it.
And that's how quick the decision was made.
So from that point, we started pushing it out, going with it.
We had to organise a demo.
