But I, like when we started, when we, I was 39, he was 24, I think, when it all kicked off.
When we started the EDL, so, you know, do the math there.
And, um, it was about 12, 13, 14 years between us.
So I had that little bit more maturity then.
How come you didn't meet him until he was 16?
Because, you know, my mum and dad don't drive, you know, they're both dubs, like, so they, a lot of the Irish didn't drive.
So, um,
We never got about socially wise meeting.
We had to walk.
I had some relatives up Solway Road, Bristol Road, another estate adjacent to Romfold.
See, I didn't know this.
Yeah, we didn't really get anywhere.
And if we went into town, which is a three-mile walk, my poor mum would have to drag six of us on foot and then get to shopping and then drag us back.
Right.
You know, God bless her.
So what was Tommy like as a teenager then?
He was pretty wild.
He was very boisterous.
You know, he was really active and networking.
