But I was a bit of a pyromaniac.

We'd set fires everywhere.

You know, we'd burn the cornfields down and then the fire brigade would come and we'd sit there watching them.

They'd come up to us and say, here, mate, how come every time there's a fire in one of these fields, you're all sitting here watching?

Oh, it's just a hypnotic thing.

I think all kids, most kids, are sort of obsessed with campfires.

Sorry, that was the problem.

But yeah, there's a few times the brigade and the police come to the door about it when I was a kid.

And was you punchy?

Was you a fighter when you was a kid?

I was just a little red-headed.

And I spent my whole school life scrapping our little brother, so I was always defending him.

And all through infant school, junior school, and just into the mix.

Yeah, that's, yeah.

So I sort of first started interacting with Steve really when he was about 16.

He was, because he's a trained, qualified aeronautical engineer, right?

He was doing his like thing at Britannia.

He's one smart puppy.

So I sort of interacted him first about 15.

I was working up on Britannia doing a job on the flight training centre and met up, chatted, introduced, and then we sort of like kept going.
