Clearly, the three is the difference maker.
And when you're hitting them, you're basically unstoppable.
And Steph Curry coming on the scene, as you know, Saran, has changed the game as much as any player, probably as much as when Jordan, Dr. J, and Kobe played.
They changed the game into a physical, acrobatic, slam-dunk type of affair.
In the 90s, it was half-court offense, a lot of defense.
League thought it was getting boring, and they were right.
And so they leaned the other way, and they made threes,
They made the offensive movement easier, and they've tweaked it a little bit since, but they moved the needle.
And I think that because there's been this proliferation of three-point shooting in the league and how it so easily seduces you to thinking this is the only way we can play, if you've got those mechanisms on your team like Boston does,
But I think any coach would say, yeah, threes and free throws are a good way to win, but balance is always the goal.
And I don't know if their roster now, which took a big upheaval and transformation this past offseason, is exactly what they want.
This is going to be a year supposedly without Tatum and a revamped roster from tip to tail.
They let a lot of players go.
