And until all that really is settled and they kind of perfect the system, you're going to have what you have right now, kind of a top-heavy league.

And the bottom half is really bad.

And there are some really bad teams in the NBA.

So they're working in that regard.

And that being said, the top half, that top-heavy portion, there is a lot of equality there.

There's a great

deal of equal playing court, and that has led to a lot of these series, and there have been a lot of them, numerous, go past the fifth and sixth game and do a game seven.

We've got a game seven coming up, as you mentioned, tomorrow night, Philadelphia and Boston.

We went six games.

I'm in Orlando tonight, and there's a game here that's going into game six with the number one seed against an Orlando team that is severely injured.

a good part of the season kind of getting their stride, and then they've lost one of their best players again for tonight.

So you're seeing parity.

It is a work in progress.

No one does it like the NFL, but the other teams, other leagues are trying to find that right formula as well.

And it's difficult with preexisting player association agreements, the way the ownership thinks, the way they try to gear the season together.

um there are a lot of complications there baseball is going to be the first big test and it's coming up this offseason and where this goes and how they'll try to put in a cap if indeed that is their plan which all signs point to they've got to have that um but i'm anxious to watch how it works in baseball i've enjoyed the way it works in football and basketball is still working in that regard

you're trying to replace a significant piece of McDuffie.
