Yeah, you're dealing with a quarterback who's making a half a billion dollars.
He's making $500 million or thereabouts, and a little less, but he takes a big chunk of what you can do.
Now, it's great because he's
Hall of Fame bound, he's a Super Bowl champion, and you wouldn't want it any other way.
That's what the market says.
But it does debilitate you on big contracts, second contracts for premier cornerbacks or whatever you've got.
The positions are cornerback, edge rusher, tackle, quarterback.
I mean, those are your money positions.
And I don't think it's anything against Trent that they traded him.
And the deal was pretty good on the paper that the Rams put in front of them on the deal.
And Rams are thrilled to have them.
But I just don't know that they don't have the kind of confidence to go out dealing with all the different things they've got to deal with.
Number one is keeping the train going.
I don't know if they have much doubt in how they view that position and the history of success that they've had in drafting that position.
I just think they look at it every day.
They wake up every morning.
