We want to know where that is, right?
If I order something and I don't get an email that tells me the order is confirmed, right?
Or the order shipped, like I'm kind of like, uh, did that go through?
Like I'm starting to question like, you know, did this actually work?
Am I actually getting this thing right?
That all flows through like the different stages of the fulfillment process.
3PL needs to be able to support that.
And the more kind of visibility and data they can get out there, I think the better.
More movement towards that real-time visibility, that data visibility.
I definitely think, you know, over the next five years, we're going to see absolutely some consolidation in the market.
You know, there's these numbers thrown around.
I've seen 20,000, I've seen 22,000 different 3PLs in the industry, which is huge.
The spectrum, as we talked about, is incredibly wide.
But we're seeing where like larger 3PL players are acquiring like smaller 3PLs or mid-market 3PLs to kind of have a side of their business that can cater to smaller brands as well.
You actually mentioned Where2Go, which actually was acquired by Stored a couple of months ago.
So it's not part of UPS anymore.
yeah so learn something right here yeah so more of that like happening i think and more consolidation in that aspect but also within that i think more carved out specialty services right because us as consumers we also like want uniqueness right and we want like customization and on the the bigger players that becomes very challenging to do because they're looking for like
you know, repeatable kind of stuff.
So that's where a lot of these like boutique type 3PLs come into play and have like specialty and a little more flexibility, maybe do some customization and things like that.
That's more like in their scope.
