You can understand why an architect like Shannon would kind of get excited by this architect's home, but understand, really excited by the opportunity of living in it, of following on and treading in the path of genius, right?

But you can't understand why her kids and husband, for whom she has already designed the most amazing home with the pool and the garage, why they would tag along, right?

This is a divorce strategy.

Architects are lucky to be able to design themselves a home.

And usually if they can accommodate their family alongside, family are usually happy too.

It's a bit of an experiment.

Everybody tags along, but they put up with it because mom, dad is the architect and this is the deal.

This is the deal.

This is what we're used to.

But to actually sort of move from that idea to total privation in a building, which is even when restored, really poorly insulated,

Not necessarily brilliantly performing because it was experimental, right?
