There was obviously either โ call it what you want โ miscommunication, lack of transparency, lack of trust between player and agent.
It had nothing to do with the Braves.
But, I mean, I think it really stems back to, you know, conversation with Alex in 2016 when he, you know, had to step down or moved on and he talked about โ
What he had kind of just learned in his tenure being in Toronto, and he talked to a lot of the players, thanked a lot of the players for what he had learned, and he valued the back of the baseball card so much that he didn't care about the person or the way things fit.
And what he had learned over his time is, yes, you do need back of the baseball card, but you need the right guys.
