Justin Thomas just has not been a factor in the tournaments that matter.

You want to have a little bit of silver lining.

I don't know how much you buy into this, but JT did change drivers a couple of weeks ago, and that's been his big weakness.

He can't keep the ball on the planet off the tee.

And at least if there's some short honeymoon period, he drove the ball very well at Doral, fourth in the field off of the tee, not driving it particularly well this week at Quail Hollow, but kind of up in the mix.

You could sell me on Justin Thomas getting back into contention that

The Jordan Spieth sell is a little tougher for me, just has not been a factor in any big golf tournaments recently.

But if those two guys are going to continue to be marketed as the faces of American golf, we're pretty far past their competitive primes.

You have new American faces in Scotty Scheffler, Cam Young.

even Xander to an extent Bryson to an extent that these guys have to prove at some point that they can do something in a big tournament.

And this does feel like an opportunity for these guys.
