And I think within that, it meant that
When I was around guys, like if we were doing a drill and perhaps I could help you out with something, I'd tell you.
Or if I needed you to do something that would make me perform my role better, I'd tell you as well.
And that was on the field and maybe just in a one-on-one situation, it was more comfortable for me to do that.
I didn't really know that that was leading or that was kind of that, but definitely the coaches saw that.
So I got fast-tracked a little bit into those groups.
Yeah, definitely the feeling of it, right?
And then I guess I got to the point where it's like, man, you don't want to β players should be leading.
And so I think it's important that the players lead those conversations.
The other ones out there, they feel β you can get a feel of the team's β
on the right track or if they're feeling a little bit lax today, this training or you never want to leave it for the coaches to be the ones who have to maybe point the finger or give the guys a bit of a rear up.
So yeah, I wasn't afraid of that once I was confident.
You know, and I kept in Canterbury in 2008, you know, like I was 22.
So I was only a few years into my career.
