I could be the guy who'd get us up and point the finger at the forwards and do a bit more of the stuff that Rich could just sit back and be that guy who could see the big picture and make those great decisions.

Yeah.

So, yeah, the whole, that whole group, you know, you chuck a, obviously DC there, um, Matt and Conrad in the midfield, that experience of those blokes.

And then, um, you know, just our experience that we had it coming off the bench as well.

Yeah.

With guys that had been there, done that for a long time.

So yeah, it was a, it was a very well rounded group.

controversial drawn series you were skipper that series yeah yeah yeah what do you remember about that oh it was a big series man like it did get played up quite high like it was definitely probably the um as you know maybe not as big as the world cup but it was certainly felt like the expectations and and everything ramped up in that time yeah

And we were, after 15, we lost all those experienced leaders and everything.

So we had started again in 16.

And we lost one game in 16.

We had a pretty good year.

But even coming into that Lions series,

You know, we just probably, I think we maybe just looked at them with a bit too much respect.

Oh, yeah.

Well, certainly we always respect our opponents, but maybe we needed to focus on ourselves a bit more, and we might have been able to find a way to break them down.

But we had a young team.

Like, in that last test, I think we even had, like, Nani Laumapé debut, and, like, Geordie Barrett debuted in that series.

That's right, Geordie was young, yeah.
