Email, that's always a thing, but there's ways to lock it down.

Is that right?

Well, my friend Lisa called me last night.

She was shaking.

Someone cleaned out her PayPal, then her Amazon.

They tried to hack into her bank account.

Basically, all of her accounts in about 40 minutes.

And the criminals never touched her password.

All they did was get into her email address because a lot of people don't realize what lives inside your inbox, right?

Your bank statements, your doctor results, your retirement account.

maybe notes about your mortgage, every streaming service, anything that you ever bought any from, and then a single password reset.

Just this one link gives criminals access to everything.

So they don't really need to hack your bank account or anything like that.

They just need to get inside your inbox.

And so here's what you need to do is, number one, of course, I know so many people don't want to do this, is that you want to make sure that you have unique passwords for every single thing.

And then also, anytime that you set up your accounts, you want to turn on two-factor authentication, but not the text version because those SMS codes can also be sent to your phone that the hackers can get into too.

I know this is like overwhelming.
