But the East just seems like it's the most wide open that I can remember any conference since I've been covering the league.

No, he would have traded with Joe Dumars to elevate his draft position for next year, which is looking like an incredible move by Ansi in the Hawks front office.
Right.
And again, if we're doing what would Presti do, the move is to keep that pick and get a Chet Holmgren type player on your team next year and be ready to go.
And I love the Hawks, not just this year, but more so deep into the future.
I mean, Jalen Johnson is great.
And Dyson Daniels, like they have such an identity now.
But Detroit's the one.
