Does that match your experience with the people around you, young women?

And why do you think that is?

So, well, you're right, there's so much there.

I mean, the thing I'm hearing through all of it is almost like there is a sense of pressure, but there's also almost like a craving for some kind of meaning and purpose as well.

Is that part of it?

And Lucy, obviously, since you've evolved in your views, I'm sure that one of the things you've done is gone through some of the main things that you used to believe and done the research and looked into it.

And there are so many things that are now effectively accepted as the truth about this issue that when you actually dig down are not true.

Right.

I'd love for you to talk us through the key beliefs of the climate movement and also talk about where they're not actually true.

An asteroid hit, that was climate change, right?

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So one of the core claims, I think, that is the most ingrained is the idea that 97% of climate scientists agree

And then it's kind of unspec... That's where it gets a little bit hazy in people's minds, because no one kind of knows what it is that the claim is they agree on.

What is the claim?

So the original claim was the temperature, the average temperature is changing.
