I used to.
I would say before I ever got into politics and before I ran for Congress, yes.
I grew up with a dad that was always in a hurry.
We lived on a farm in a ranch, and he would tell me, Christy, get to town and get those parts and get back here as fast as you can.
So in our family, yes, had quite a few speeding tickets.
But when I ran for Congress, it was quite an issue.
People would say, you know, how can you write the law when you knowingly break the law?
And that really resonated with me.
It was true that even though I didn't think at the time the way that I grew up that speeding tickets were a big deal, if people were going to trust me to go out and to actually write the law in Congress, then I needed to.
So I'm completely reformed, Patrick.
I hope you are, too.
