Because, you know, looking at the numbers, when teams hit at least one home run in a game this year, their winning percentage is 597.
When they don't, it's 336.
Now, that's a difference of 261 points.
The Royals are about the major league average in that.
They're actually less affected, a little bit less affected by not hitting a home run than most teams.
500 when they do, 250 when they don't.
So you do have to hit the ball over the fence.
I want to see a complete run-up of the numbers when the season's over and see is there a way that you can combine those two?
