You know, never feels good as a coach for sure.

And, you know, the one thing we try to do as coaches is put our team in a, in a position to play a tough schedule, to play, you know,

a schedule that's going to give us a chance to play in the post season and prepare us for it.

And I think we did that.

Um, uh, but we did, you know, like you said, you know, there's been plenty of points in time in the season, including the last part of it where, and I, you know, I'll be honest, Todd, like the last, we only played one game in the conference tournament.

We played our tails off and we ended up losing a one run game and extra innings.

Um, and you know, that hurts when you play hard and you lose.

Um,

But, you know, we had, I don't know, I told the kids, I'm sure if you interviewed any one of them, they tell you, like Crook said, we're one click away from being really good about a million times.

And, you know, we said the same thing.

You know, if we get an opportunity, we're one click away.

And we got an opportunity to play in a regional, and, you know, the kids, to their credit,

I just, they didn't stop working.

They're not different players now than they were a month ago.

They just, you know, we were a click away and kind of found that click at the right time and, you know, happy to still have the opportunity to do it.

I think you know better than I do.

The kids are fully aware of the chatter.

They're probably more aware of it than I am.

Um, I'll be honest.

I traditionally, I never, I've never aware of it, but I was very aware of it this year.
