Yeah, I suppose.
The Australian government has a power to do that.
You can't technically say to an Australian citizen overseas you can never come back, but you can put a two-year ban on it.
How old is this girl?
I'm not sure, actually, her particular age.
But for the rest of them, they can come back.
The government's saying we're not going to help them come back, but if they get here, they have to be let in.
If they've committed crimes, they could be jailed then in Australia for them.
But the opposition wants to bring in a law where anyone else who helps them get here would then be treated as a criminal.
So they think that's the way to actually...
prevent Australians coming home if they're suspected of terror offences.
So what's the plan here for these teenage girls to be stateless, to have nowhere to go?
That's the thing.
You can't leave someone stateless.
That's an international crime.
Now, I know these girls, they went off and some of them went off, you know, because they believed in the mission and others were tricked into going or sort of coerced into going.
But are they teenage girls or are these grown women now?
I think they're mostly women.
Even the children are getting a little bit older.
