Creativity is just problem solving.
Every idea is the solution to some problem.
And sometimes that problem is, hey, I want something interesting and pretty to hang on the wall.
Sometimes it's my business is about to collapse.
Either way, you got to figure out like an idea that will solve that problem.
And when you reframe creativity as problem solving, then people go, oh, okay, I can do that.
When we put creativity on this pedestal and act like it's this mythical, magical thing, then people go, well, I can't do that because I've never done magic before.
I can't do that.
That feels outside of my skill set.
But if I say, hey, can you take two things and combine them into a new thing that solves a problem?
You're like, oh yeah, I can probably do that.
