I was going to say yes.
I feel like you'd know more.
The tools matter.
Mancini, to me, is...
A guy that got traded here last year shows up and played with, like, just pure excitement to be getting a chance.
And his play showed that, like, there were so many more times that in the D zone, grab a puck, take two of those massive strides and separate himself, move it or keep carrying it, whatever.
Like, there were more points of...
You know, as we're talking Kudryatsev and Mueller of like, nothing's going to really like pull your eye to them.
Mancini would do something once a game and you're like, okay, like I see what this can build to.
This year, coming and making the team out of camp, but then quickly going, like pretty quickly going back to Abbotsford and being down there a lot of the year.
You know, he's had 25 games now.
And to me, those 25 games have been played like a guy that knows that he can't make a mistake.
And he knows there's a lot of other young D. He's got to do something, but he also can't have bad turnovers, get out of position, all these things.
Like, not that he's playing scared, but he's playing a little more...
focused on the wrong part as much as you want him to be a defender and all of it.
Like, I want to see you take off with a puck.
I want to see you... The wild horse stuff.
But that's what makes you the prospect that you are.
Not trying to be like a stay-at-home steady defenseman.
And zero traits.
