So a year from now, what good is it thinking, well, our team's better, maybe he would have been a little better and we got a... Well, maybe none of that happens because the move wasn't made.
Like, it's a lot of what-ifs and things that, to me, just waste time.
That as much as they have a long offseason, they don't have time to waste.
Yeah, I mean, I think a lot, not a lot, but
As much as Bedard was the start of that, the kickstart of the rebuild, there's still some picks before that that should have been helping
Already by the time that, but art or coming in at the same time as Bedard, you know, waiting a year or two.
Um, one of them was here this year in Lucas Reichel, right?
Like they expected Reichel to be able to be the two, two C with Bedard there.
And there was a lot of talk, uh,
after Bedard was there that, you know, because the talk was already of, you know, was Bedard going to be a winger?
Is he going to be a center?
Well, maybe Reichels is, you know, the playmaking center and the setup guy, all of it.
Well, that didn't work.
And so it's so important where as much as like you'll, this year, the Canucks and everyone will focus on the first, second or third pick, whatever they end up with.
And that's the main one.
They're going to have another pick at, like, 28.
And another couple seconds... Like, there's a lot of players there, and it's not just about that very first guy and being so locked in.
I don't... Like, it's...
You can't.
That is failure.
