I'd rather take the team that's going to try and run through you sometimes because at least you know what's coming with the skill and speed teams.
You know, like the way that they play and play with a bit more flow, things move and change quicker and you can get caught with a little mistake.
Just like the fight to stay in the game and having pride in
trying to finish on a good note.
We all know, the players know, everyone knows that this year has been disaster, and there hasn't been a lot of good from it.
But you can still end on a good note.
I think for the most part since the trade deadline, they've had some pretty good efforts in there and some good fight.
They've had games that obviously have not gone the way that
Even in a situation where you're not expecting them to win, they can't lose the way that they did.
They go down three times, they come back three times and end up winning in a shootout.
The fight and determination you have to have when there's only three games left in the year and they don't matter to care that much.
I brought it up yesterday, but
Watching Curtis Douglas get his first goal, obviously seeing how excited he was and all that was great, but for a team that for a season and a half here has been talking about culture change and playing for each other and caring and all that stuff...
to me, watching him celebrate that goal and then watching the rest of the guys celebrate with him immediately, then on the bench, in the locker room after the game that the clips come out and his interview with Murph, like,
to me, that change has already started.
Like, those guys were genuinely happy for him.
And to see that from where, you know, conversation was even two months ago, like, yeah, do they have miles of road to cover still?
Of course they do.
