So far, he's evaded capture, but as the search plays out, Nuku's become a bit of a national icon in South Korea.
The public's been reporting sightings on social media, and given the day and age that we live in, throwing in a couple of AI red herrings as well isn't really helpful.
And the reason that it's such a big deal is because Nuku is part of a program for the Korean wolf, which is now extinct in the wild.
So he's pretty important in keeping the species alive.
But still, he is a wolf.
And so authorities aren't taking any chances when it comes to people's safety.
