It's not a safe place for women.
And I have quite a lot of meetings with women veterans who have tried to blow the whistle and are trying to promote cultural change.
And it feels like that change is slowly happening, but it doesn't feel like a really safe place to be.
And so proper funding for looking into this issue and trying to rectify this issue is really welcome.
And I think there was a small amount in the budget for that.
I'd have to look up my papers.
But the big stuff is still not being touched, except if you want to give money to Donald Trump to buy more secondhand submarines and other weapons.
There's always money for that.
That's the major.
There's always money for war but there's very rarely money for veterans.
Veterans.
Oh, we have to stop having all of these uplifting conversations, Abby.
Well, I think it reflects just how let down people feel with the two political parties and I totally can relate to that.
I get that.
I too think they've been working for corporate interests for far too long.
And so I think people are finally realising, okay, these political parties aren't on my side.
What else is there?
And Hanson has the backing of billionaires like Gina Reinhart.
She's Australia's richest person.
She's been flying her around, getting her into communities, paying for all her digital advertising.
