Like they've been flooding the airwaves for quite some time now and feeding off that discontent and that anger.
But what is so damaging about their party and her ideology is that she blames migrants for
for the economic problems that we're all facing.
And it is not migrants' fault.
The fact that housing is unaffordable and groceries are unaffordable and, you know, transport's unaffordable has nothing to do with migration.
And our country is built off the back of, we're all migrants, unless you're a First Nations person.
That's who we are as a community.
And so for Pauline Hanson and her party to be trying to pit people against each other whilst taking the money from the billionaires, it just makes it clear that she's doing it to protect the billionaires because she's trying to distract people by hating on each other to take the focus off the fact that the system's working really nicely for the ultra wealthy.
I mean, if you look at COVID times when we shut the borders and that we had no migration because no one could travel, house prices still increased.
Okay.
So it is not migration that is driving house price increases.
It is those property investor tax perks.
And I've seen the graphs and I've looked at them and the moment they came in, that's when house prices got turbocharged.
And they're those very same tax perks that this government has decided to keep for everyone who's already got them.
Grandfathered in, they call it.
And, you know, it just boggles the mind.
So you have a billionaire backed person who essentially uses racism to try to boost her own political fortunes and her own personal fortunes, I might add.
But none of those so-called solutions will help anyone.
Being racist doesn't make your bills cheaper.
It doesn't make your home more affordable.
