Yeah, well, sorry, just before we actually left the Slogan Park Hotel, Liam Griffin spoke about this, about if we lose a guy, or if they lose a guy, how we were going to handle the situation, 14 against 15 or whatever it was.
So, Liam Griffin rehearsed a lot of this stuff throughout the championship, so we were well prepared in terms of who we were up against, and
what challenge was ahead of us.
So when you prepare yourself for all them, you know, the pressure is less on you inside, you know, because he delivers the message.
You have to deliver the message in terms of your performance.
But just before Sean Flood was unfortunate, he actually missed the final.
He broke a bone in his foot.
in the semi-final against Galway.
So George O'Connor came in to replace him.
And we were in the hotel sitting down in the light snack and Liam Griffin had a meeting for a few minutes and Sean Flood had to get up and say a few words, you know, how his chance in life was gone because of an injury that he's going to miss playing in the All-Ireland final.
And it was very, very emotional for him now.
And you could feel in the little meeting room that the players were, oh my God.
you know, his chance in life is gone and he might never ever play in an Ireland again.
