To be fair, at the very least, WWE sort of realized, oh, wow, people actually really love this guy, which is wild in the first place that...

they would not have been aware that there would be such a reaction to this, that he is so ingrained in the positive things about the WWE that it's like, even if by your own weird metrics, you think that you're overpaying for what you get on a week-to-week basis, that's money well spent because people like that R-Truth is there.

He pops up time to time, once every couple weeks, sometimes even weekly when it's...

And it's like, oh, cool.

Truth is around.

That's good.

We like truth.

And that's worth the price that you're paying for the guy, even if he's not out there wrestling as often as other people or being featured in a way that other people are.

They recognize that and immediately took action to rectify that situation.

So, you know, at least there was that because Lord knows WWE took plenty of PR hits this year.

That was one where it's like, hey, cool.

They did the right thing.

And then to sort of put things back to the status quo for whatever reason and without much without much of a reason provided on screen in terms of like a story was definitely definitely an oddball way to go.
