And they just started having their own match. And Drew McIntyre was like, I'm going to bump out of here.
And then he fell right out. So now he gets to be champion in front of people. I've been saying this, that there's not a lot of options for people to take the title off Cody. And Drew is one of them. And finally, they decided to roll with Drew McIntyre. I love this decision.
So it's interesting... So first off, hats off to Cody and Drew because over the length of what was about a 40-minute match, from the opening bell to the very end, they kept the intensity at 11. It was maxed. Absolutely. And hats off to them as performers for being able to do that because that's what really sold the entirety of the match for me was, all right, there's an urgency and intensity here that befits a match of this stipulation. It felt like a pay-per-view match, not just a pay-per-view match, like a major pay-per-view match. Like this could have been on SummerSlam or on the Rumble or at Mania. And it wouldn't have, like, you wouldn't have batted an eye if this was a main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania and you would have been satisfied with it.
Absolutely. It was of that quality. And a lot of that is because of the intensity that they brought for the full length of the match.
