Really no good news for Viva Energy today, it seems, and that's what's led to the decline in its share price.
Worley, the engineering and consulting company, was another one to actually come out with an update today saying the war in the Middle East has impacted its business.
It warned that the conflict is adding uncertainty to its outlook, particularly given its exposure to energy products internationally.
in the region and said that disruptions could impact project timing, costs and client activity, especially if tensions persist.
Now, it also said it's unlikely that the company will achieve growth in underlying earnings this financial year, essentially withdrawing its previous guidance on that front.
So it shares down around 6%.
I'll also mention Monash IVF because today it has rejected a revised takeover approach from a consortium backed by private equity firm Genesis Capital and investment group Solpats, saying the proposal undervalues the business.
Now, the company hasn't completely closed the door, but for now it's pushing back, signalling it believes there's more value in the business than what's being offered.
It shares down 7% on that news.
