So Plattner got about 72%.

Janet Mills, who was still on the ballot because she didn't drop out in time, got about 20% of the vote.

So that can kind of be interpreted as people who are either lodging protest votes against Plattner or, you know, just expressing that they are not satisfied with their choice here.

California has these rules that the top two finishers, if no one reaches 50 percent, regardless of party, then go on to a runoff in November.

So this specific offer would address that.

Despite sort of, you know, talks seeming to stall out over the weekend, there clearly is some behind the scenes through negotiators in Pakistan conversations happening.
