They're just fucking stunning.
But the problem is the whole thing about those was that they were real leather, heavy.
Because they're heavy, they fall in a certain way.
But when I saw that jacket, I was like, that's literally...
a plastic jacket and it's defeating so when you're looking at some trends you're like this is defeating what this is actually is supposed to be you know it's like and the whole reason you're wearing the the type of glasses that you have on it's a certain glare in certain circumstances and when you're it's it's like fancy dress you know sometimes you're like oh it's a policeman's outfit but like you run after a robber in it a lot of the trend stuff you have to think about where is this trend derived from and is this jacket actually doing what it's meant to do yeah or it's just going to last a few weeks
The silhouette is stunning.
It's boring.
Like when I was getting coffee the other day,
there was a girl ahead of me wearing the Zara one and people kept going, where did you get your jacket?
And I was like, this is literally taken from an Isabel Marant block.
Like, as a designer, that's what you do.
You bring it in and you copy the shape or whatever.
I know YSL have a version of that jacket as well.
It's so nice.
I think if you, if you look online in secondhand shops, because even like friends of mine that have worked high end, they get a lot of their shapes from vintage and secondhand.
if you type in the description of that jacket into like pre-owned or vintage, you will find a real leather one.
Like if you really like that jacket, you will probably end up replacing it with the real leather one.
