So she was talking about periods, she was talking about her birth,
And I just found it fascinating.
And I loved the theme of it.
It was really from a young girl's point of view as well.
I think she really understood young girls and understood our wants and our needs.
And as a result, I just thought that this is, wow, it's eye-opening.
And I probably read it when I was a bit young.
I think it's meant for 13, 14-year-olds.
I probably read it at like 10 or 11.
Yeah, so that's why I loved her and all that book.
Yeah, it was a moment of awakening, I think, for loads of young girls as well.
And it wasn't, there wasn't very much like it in Ireland at the time.
There was no other authors that were writing those kinds of novels and really relatable to young girls.
So that's why I loved it.
