He's been around for the last few years.

He's worked very hard with the team.

He's now speaking Portuguese and Creole as well.

So, yeah, he's very much integrated into the Cape Verde culture now.

We do actually, yeah.

I mean, I reached out to Pico when he first joined the team and just said, oh my God, I can't believe there's an Irishman on our team, you know.

And yeah, we've been exchanging messages since, just always give him a bit of a morale message before the game.

He always replies to say thank you.

He's just great.

He's really, really good.

Yeah, he's been to Cape Verde.

Obviously, he's been to Cape Verde, but he's been to Sal, the island that I'm on.

for his honeymoon.

I think it was 2024.

Unfortunately, I wasn't on the island at the time.

I was travelling myself, but he did, I mean, he was around town and every woman just loved chatting to him and getting photos and he went to the Irish Dubliner bar and yeah, it was great.

Oh my God.

So yeah, going back to 20, yeah, 2006 actually it was.

So over 20 years now.

I was 24 at the time, young, and had the opportunity to come and work with an Irish group, actually work with an Irish developer over here on the island of Sal in Cape Verde.
