Yeah, I mean, my education was really the only thing that I feel like got me through, like, everything.
It was my motivator through everything, I would say.
I studied and all I knew how to do was study and focus on that.
And that's the only thing I could control.
Even if I couldn't sleep, I'd be like, okay, I guess I'll, you know, I'll read my physics book.
I'll prepare for tomorrow or whatever.
And that's what got me out eventually.
That's what got me here as well.
Like, that's what enabled me to move.
My mom used to always say, ever since we were kids, education is like your weapon.
It's like your sword.
Thank God she built that into you.
She drilled it into us like a surgeon.
Ever since we were kids, like you have to study like that's how, especially as a woman, like your education is your weapon.
It's what protects you.
